A selection of one-off large sections of heat sealable TPU coated nylon, at up to 25% off our standard prices. Each section is a single piece in the size shown, so once it has gone, it has gone. They are ideal for bigger builds: large dry bags, inflatable structures, packraft repairs and university research or prototyping projects.

Common questions

What is heat sealing?
All our fabrics have a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) coating. When heated with an iron or hot air, the coating melts and bonds to itself, joining the fabric without glue. Watch a short explainer.

Which iron should I use?
We have used both the Jamara Pro Star iron and the Prolux Digital Iron. For small seams and tight areas, try this smaller electric iron. Whichever you use, it needs to reach and hold around 220°C.
