Common questions

What is heat sealing?
All our fabrics have a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) coating. When heated with an iron or hot air, the coating melts and bonds to itself, joining the fabric without glue.

Which iron should I use?
We have used both the Jamara Pro Star iron and the Prolux Digital Iron. For small seams and tight areas, try this smaller electric iron. With a thinner fabric like 70D, test on an offcut first and use light pressure.

The TPU surface may show streaking from manufacturing. This does not affect performance. Colours on screen may differ slightly.
